Week 5 13-17 Aug

Ozone cafe is being taken over! Svend has the Trades students in charge of the cafe and they are doing a splendid job. A roster has been produced, eclairs have been made to sell next week (frozen in the meantime), beautiful and expertly laminated signs have gone up all around Polytech advertising the opening of the cafe. Hopefully the students will have a good chance to put their barista skills to use :)

Week 4 6-10 Aug

The students had another go at making pies....Svend and Aaron  took everyone through their online food handling theory, very patiently and with a lot of perserverance by the sounds of it - all those who were there passed - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Week 3 30th July - 3rd Aug

Pasta made from scratch......

I arrived in time to sample some fabulous vegetarian lasagne (thanks Cory and Jai) and the group was going on to make fettucine. It is really impressive to see the Trades students at work in the kitchen.
